Trail Cameras:
Eagle’s Roost has two trail cameras capable of capturing still photos or videos of wildlife.
Visitors can have a go at being a Zoologist for a day and set out the trail cameras somewhere along the walk trails to see what happens in the forest overnight. In the morning visitors can save their captured images to a disc to take home as a rather different memento of their stay 🙂
Other Night Photography:
The Southern Lights or Aurora Australis are often visible from Eagle’s Roost. With minimal light pollution it is an excellent place to capture the aurora or night sky photos. So if you are into night sky photography (or want to give it a go) bring your camera and tripod with you 🙂
